I created the SAFI changing mat because creating a safe clean space for diaper changes on the go was important. I dreaded having to change his diaper on a gross public changing table. I almost always opted to change him in the car. Most changing mats were too small and so some part of him was touching the table or the thought of putting it back in my bag after it touched such a surface was gross.

That is why the antimicrobial and water resistant backing was so important, not only does it protect against bacterial growth on the mat it also makes cleaning the back portion so much easier.

Our mat is pvc free, antimicrobial and stain resistant making cleaning easy.
